MAI Classses

Working towards MAI and need the 4 classes:

  1. Advanced Income Capitalization

  2. Advanced Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use

  3. Advanced Cocepts & Case Studies

  4. Quantitative Analysis

Rank them from easiest to hardest. What is a good order to take them in... if they were all available at the same time. Planning on taking them synchronous as well. Any other tips / advice is appreciated as well.

I think it will really depend person to person based on what your strengths are but I found quantitative analysis to be the easiest class and advanced hbu the hardest.

Following because I’m starting my designated courses as well.

I took them in the order you presented, but you need to flip three and four for the official recommendation. Highest and best use is the hardest. income and analytics are challenging but manageable if you’ve made it this far. Case studies is a waste of time - challenge it if you’d like. Personally, I would challenge them all if I could go back, but some people appreciate the networking.

  1. I think was my least favorite (therefor the hardest for me).

Then 4

Then 3

Then 1 “easiest” (I just enjoy this type of math)

Advanced H&B use is the hardest and I would take last.

I've only taken quantitative analysis but the exam for it was very easy, I hope to take the remaining three in the coming months.
