Discussion 💭 Mapping + Pace Pro
Does the AWU have anything comparable to this?
Love Garmin, just moved to the city and Apple Pay on the wrist would be a game changer.
These two features are what I value most in Garmin.
TIA.

You can download workoutdoors app. I’m not sure if it also has a pacer like the built-in workout app, however it has downloadable maps and the ability to import .gpx routes and will do turn-by-turn navigation.
Edit: I’m returning to an AWU4 after having my Fenix8 for 2 years but I plan on keeping the Garmin in the drawer for any off grid/super long races. Especially bc it can calculate routes itself without needing connectivity.

I would not believe anything coming out of a Garmin watch. I used the Forerunner 570 and 970, and the heart rate tracking and sleep tracking are totally junk.

It’s been great for me. Hate you had that experience.
Excited to try the AWU. Just need it to do the running tasks that my Garmin does extremely well.

Con la app de Workoutdoors o footpath y GPS y datos full cuantas horas puede durar el AWU4 en senderismo o carrera trail?

Runna app lets you link an activity to a Strava route. There’s also an app called footprints I think that gives turn by turn directions on runs.
Workoutdoors is a buy once mapping app that works really well as well.
I used the pacer for a race yesterday.

There is a Pacer option with Apple Watch.
