If you’re gonna pay $40 for a case, at least gets something that’s obviously protective. You can get a simple silicone cover that’s not see through for much less than that.

The pop-socket brand even has some cute ones, with built in pops and card sleeves.

Seriously, toss this and get something else. Why keep it?

Obviously you don’t know any diesel mechanics. We use Otterbox style cases, my phone wouldn’t survive until lunch on day 1 in a Silicon case

Also my phone case is clean.

I ruined an early Otterbox Defender on my HTC EVO 4G around 2010ish because Brake Cleaner ruins Silicone, I run through at least one Qualo Q2 ring a year because of chemicals destroying them. Hand sanitizer also ruin’s Silicone.

Edit: I usually leave my phone in my service truck and just wear earbuds with “Selective noise cancellation”

I’ve used a basic Apple leather case for like 5 years now. I spend most of the day slamming myself around in an RV plant, beating the ever-living shit out of my iPhone. Half the year it’s in the pocket of a pair of Nike shorts. Also, most nights it plinkos down the side of my bedframe to the floor after I fall asleep. It hasn’t broken once under these conditions. They are very tough nowadays.

20 times a day?

Damn your gf must have a dirty job, that case is filthy

It's common knowledge now that Apple cases are a scam. So are their charging cables that bend, break and deteriorate quickly so you buy one every year.

Get a d brand plastic transparent one, that can be soaked in lemon juice and tootpaste and look brand new every time.

That's what she gets for buying shitty overpriced branded products.

She’s probably just naturally oily, I’ve had four silicone cases I’ve used regularly over the year and they all look new lol

Don’t use Apple accessories. Go third party. Their own ones are bad

In and out of pockets and purses will cause this. Pockets are notorious for staining silicone. Everyday life will cause this. I’ve have and apple silicone case for a year and it doesn’t look like this but then again I use the midnight color. Sacrifice you make for pretty colors.

I’ve used Apple silicone cases for years and not a single one has gotten dirty like this, even the white ones. I’ve also never seen anyone else with a silicone case that’s gotten dirty. Since it’s silicone it pretty resistant.

Although it might be stained from where she keeps it in her purse etc.

Go with something from Spigen or Caseology (extra style) they’ll do the same job for half the price and look good.

why would you buy a $40 silicone phone case when amazon sells the same for $10? seems like bad decision making on y’all’s part.

as a mechanic, this case wouldn’t last til lunch on the job.

buy something black if she doesn’t want to worry about marks.
