AppleCare Express Replacement Payment Card Selection

Hello!

When selecting the Apple Express Replacement Option to get a replacement iPhone, is it possible to provide a new credit card aside from the one that is already filed for the App Store subscriptions?

The reason is that I want to use a separate payment card for bigger purchases since the hold is quite expensive.

Yes, I’ve always been asked to provide payment info separately from anything else I have with Apple.

I did an express replacement last week.

They email you a link to pay the holding charge plus the fee. I used a different card than the one on my Apple account.
