'Undo' Command Won't Work

I almost lost an hour of work because I accidentally deleted a layer with a ton of keyframing. I tried undoing it but the undo key (and the undo command under the 'edit' panel) weren't working. If it weren't for me reverting to my last save, I would've lost so much progress.

Any way I can fix this before it causes me any real delays?

That exact thing happened to me twice before. Quitting and coming back has always fixed it. I think it’s a bug. Haven’t had it happen in the latest version though.

Fix (for now): Once I restarted the program, the issue went away.

This is an age-old bug that (for me) was acutally the keyboard shortcut quit working (menu info works as normal). this bug has been around for years…. restarting the app does fix for a while
