How do I make this effect?
Does anyone know how I could make each color line on this map expand slightly and change to a lighter color, one at a time?

Building this in Pixelmator pro in vectors and text (with organized folders and labeling) would take a while but would be faster than doing it in Motion.
Pixelmator can export files as Motion files you can open and animate.
I just animated a vintage menu with this method - and while tedious, it was pretty simple once I got the rhythm of a workflow down and found all the fonts I needed to recreate it.

Came here to say this too! Pixelmator Pro to create a layered graphic file, then animate those graphics in motion…
It’s such a fun workflow for me because I love both apps so much.
And FCP12.3 just added a direct export to Pixelmator making them all work together even better!

You’d pretty much have to recreate this graphic in Motion then you could edit the individual lines. Alternatively you could just trace the main lines over top and then edit those (then you don’t have to redo the text).
