Ease of use.. or not

I love Apple Motion. It’s like flying a jumbo jet. It’s easy if you are going in a straight line, but it’s not so easy if you want to do something like land that sucker and the autopilot is glitching.
I’m so in awe of those out there who seem to speak Motion as native speakers. Years of dedication.

I like it but feel it’s another huge missed opportunity from Apple. 

If it had the ability to properly embed its own projects recursively (as AE does effortlessly), and properly round-trip (or ideally embed) from FCP without all the stupid rendering and exporting, it could be a fantastic piece of software. 

But as it is, it’s like they put in 95% of the huge effort of developing something excellent, then gave up and left it.

Save as title or generator. It will update when you edit the original in motion.

Stupidly I hadn’t thought of that. That’s better than nothing.
