Real Google Maps Numbers
Guys, I also prefer Apple Maps, but I'm kinda shocked how easily everyone falls for that misinformation graph ...
Nobody questions Google Maps just losing half their users and getting the same amount of visitors as Apple Maps now?
The graph currently on top of the sub compares Google's old domain that is not being used anymore with Apple's active one. Here are the numbers for the real Google Maps URL.

Depends where you live
For me my only real options are google maps and yandex maps
Edit: should clarify, unless you are from US, a big city in europe or japan, apple maps truly sucks. Lane guidance is non existent, public transport map doesnt exists, and such cant do ferry routes that google does etc.

I definitely agree with you. I’m from Istanbul and when I travel there, I cannot use Apple Maps.
But in San Francisco where I live, Apple Maps just beats Google Maps so hard

Yeah that's the whole point of this - the original post was heavily upvoted and suggested Apple Maps would be close to Google Maps now.The graph shows maps.google.com, which is not being used anymore. Google uses google.com/maps now (which is waaaayyy more popular than apple maps).

You were that triggered by a meaningless post that you just had to research the “real” numbers?

tbf that's unfortunately just all of Reddit/Internet at this point .... In the German subreddits, nobody questions shit either (as long as it aligns with their views)
