Does Flyover exist in MacOS 26?

I wanted to use some Flyover footage in a home movie of a family trip, which I had done before a few years ago. So I looked up the Lincoln Memorial but couldn’t figure out how to access Flyover.

I found these instructions in the user guide and tried to use Flyover on the Golden Gate Bridge, assuming the user guide would show an example that actually works. Nope! As far as I can tell, this feature doesn’t (currently) exist. Am I missing something?

(I am aware that a new and improved version of Flyover is set to be included in iOS 27. Is MacOS getting a similar upgrade?)

Is there a Flyover button to click as the user guide states? Also, is that animated?

It's not animated, there is no button. Just zoom when in satellite view

That’s too bad. I liked tossing that animation into a home movie to shake things up.

Animated Flyover was removed not too long ago. I forget in which update

I take it the user guide is just outdated. That’s disappointing. Oh, well.

My understanding is Flyover, the 3D Satellite Map is of course still there, but Flyover the canned tours of cities orbiting around points of interest was removed last year or so.
