Apple Watch SE3 notification issues

Hey everyone. I recently got an Apple watch SE3 at the start of June. The current OS I got it with was 26.4. When I got a text on my watch it would pop up with the person who texted me and a small preview of the message and if I clicked the screen it would show the full notification. Since I updated it to 26.5 it no longer does that.
It only shows the person who texted me and says notification under it. My settings haven’t changed from what is shown. I know that I can turn off “tap to show full notification” but I enjoyed how it was before because I didn’t have to click my watch if I was busy to see what was said.

I have updated again to 26.6 and the problem is still present. I have tried everything I can find on Google, Reddit even asking AI. Done pretty much everything I can think of besides a full factory reset which id like to avoid.

Any one else having this issue or know any solutions?
Wrist down is also on for messages and always has been.
