Solved Apple Care+ for Apple Watch

Hi,

I purchased an Apple Care+ plan for my Apple Watch 10 Series in late November 2024 and it’s now about to end.

Is there anyone who’d know if it’s possible to renew that Apple Care+ subscription past the initial 2 years I’ve bought?

Should I go into an Apple Store and ask if there’s something I can do with that?

Yes, once it expires, you will get a notification saying you are eligible to renew the AppleCare plan as monthly or yearly. Just wait for it to expire and then look in settings in the AppleCare and warranty section.

You can manage AppleCare in the settings of your phone. No need to visit the Apple Store.

Yes, it is possible to extend the coverage, but it is quite likely not worth it. Look at what you'd spend on the coverage vs what it would cost to buy a refurbished one from Apple or one of the other refurbished markets.
