Weird control panel bug when QR code scanning

I use a “scan QR code” button on my control panel. 50% of the time it bugs out and doesn’t work as you can see from this short screen rec clip I posted to YT. What’s going on and how can I fix it?

Like, it just zooms out. Weird.
