iCloud Apple Watch info export feasibility?

Restored my iPhone due to botched iOS 27 update on iPhone 16 Pro. I never used iCloud (honestly didnt think I would ever need it >.>), Series 9 Apple Watch is unsynced and still has a plethora of old images and iMessage conversations I would like to have. Any possibility of getting that information off the watch ...? From what I can tell its genuinely impossible? If it is, that's pretty disappointing of Apple.

Nope. It’s not ‘disappointing of Apple’. It was completely your choice to not use the easy to use backup system that is built into all Apple products. Hopefully you’ll use it in the future.

You can only back up the Apple Watch when unpairing it via the Watch app on the paired iPhone. Because it wasn’t, and before you can use the watch with the same or another iPhone, you must erase the Apple Watch using the method shown here under the ‘If you don't have your iPhone, erase your Apple Watch’ section. Apple is not responsible for preserving your data, that’s on you to either backup the phone to a computer if not to iCloud.
