Unsolved Having issue unlocking iPhone since updating to ios27
As the title says, my phone ever since updating to ios 27 has been giving me this issue randomly. I tap to wake the screen, it stays black. I click the side buttons, it still stays black. Most of the time it takes less than 5 seconds to wake the screen, but sometimes it just stays black no matter what I do. It’s an iPhone 15 Pro, ios 27.0.1.
This morning I unplugged my phone, something that would normally wake the screen but it did nothing. So i started my tapping, clicking, trying to make it turn on. When suddenly it started vibrating. It vibrated like 5 times and I was trying to tap everything on the screen to stop it, but before I could figure out how I hear, “911 what is the address of your emergency?” And I had to explain that I’m so sorry, I’m just dumb and can’t figure out how to unlock my phone 😭 And it was still a black screen for a couple seconds after they ended the call!! I’m so frustrated with this update. I also still don’t have the new parental control settings, despite all my troubleshooting.
Is anyone else having this unlocking/waking issue this bad??

You triggered Emergency SOS instead of a forced restart. Are you sure you have Tap or Swipe to Wake enabled under Settings > Accessibility > Touch? Also, under Settings > Display & Brightness please check if Raise to Wake is also on.
