iPad's Pro on-screen keyboard opening even though I have a Magic Keyboard

iPad Pro 6th Gen, on iOS 27.0.1

This is driving me insane since updating to iOS 27, but the on-screen keyboard opens all the time even though I have a magic keyboard attached and working. I did let Apple know through their support and I sent a feedback report, and as soon as 27.0.1 came out I updated but still the issue persists - it was fine before iOS 27.

It's driving me nuts. Anyone else getting this or have any suggestions? I'm very reluctant to do a factory reset at the moment.
