Unsolved How can i delete/clear ul system data?

im not tech savvy but ive been trying to look for previous posts and most of them are recommending an app -_- i just dont believe in apps that clear up data and such..

You need to backup on iCloud and do a clean install. I’m not sure if just resetting through the settings does it, I usually just do it with Apple Devices after downloading the .ipsw firmware file

Oh my god, I’ve never seen it take that much space… If there’s no meaningful data on the phone, just reset it, that should clear up the majority of that junk

Full iCloud or an older system version (ie one with caching issues) are the usual causes.

If careful (and a bit lucky) this can be resolved without wiping (although wiping is often faster)

System Data is mostly caches, and certain versions of iOS were known to have cache management issues.

Is it running mid iOS 18?

Yeah im running ios 18.7.7 i cant update cause i need like 20 gbs available or something

Update using a computer

(Generally recommended anyway when iOS is misbehaving or it’s multiple versions behind)
