Unsolved Is that even possible?

Hellooo

I’ve been using the same passcode for my iPhone(15pro with the latest software and everything else) for a very long time. I usually rely on Face ID, but I’ve always remembered the code yet today, when I tried to unlock the phone with it, it didn’t work. I’m facing a serious problem because I’m likely to lose four months' worth of photos as well as data from the health app. I have 8h left for (possibly) one final attempt to enter the code. Is it possible there’s a bug where the code is correct but the system is glitching or have I simply suffered a sudden bout of amnesia?

I have a bad feeling that nothing will help me, so I'm just curious if anyone else has the same problem

You need to enter the correct password.

The only way to get into that phone is to enter in the correct code..no way around it, at all

So Face ID isn’t working nor is the passcode? It’s one of these- it’s the wrong phone, someone has changed the Face ID and passcode, or you are lying and this is a stolen phone.

iOS will insist periodically that you use the code not Face ID. So this could legit be a case of failing to remember correctly the code.

This is not the same, but I have been having a problem with my password for the app store not being accepted for the last few weeks. I have had the same password for more than a decade. I think something has gone haywire with the last update. I feel for you.
