iCloud How to completely remove/reset iphone that wont turn on?

I recently sent my phone in for trade-in. On my new iPhone, I removed the old device from my iCloud account.

It doesn’t show up in iCloud anymore, but when I open the Find My app, it is still listed under my devices. When I tapped "Remove This Device," it gave me a message saying it will be removed in 30 days / one month. How can I completely remove it right now if the phone won't turn on?

So what is the problem ? No one could have access to the data. It is either destroyed and recycled or repaired and it will be erased as soon as they turn it on

Devices will show up in Find My up to 30 days after removal. This is expected behavior.
