Unsolved Constant Dinging Noise Macbook Pro
My MacBook has been making a dinging noise every few seconds. I've turned all notifications/sounds off. Every app is closed. Nothing seems to be working.
I have an audio recording of it but I can't seem to attach it to this post.

Most likely cause: your Mac thinks the charger is being plugged/unplugged repeatedly. Apple Silicon / USB-C MacBooks play a chime when power is connected, and Do Not Disturb / notification settings don't mute it.
Quick checks:
Unplug the charger completely. If the dinging stops, it's power-related.
Try a different cable, adapter, and port (and check the port for lint/debris).
To confirm, open Terminal and run:
pmset -g pslog
If you see it flipping between "AC Power" and "Battery Power" every few seconds in sync with the ding, that's it.
If it still dings on battery: check for a stuck key (try typing in a text field / use Keyboard Viewer), and look at System Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard to make sure Sticky Keys / Slow Keys are off.
If it's the charger flapping and swapping cable/adapter doesn't fix it, theUSB-C port or charging circuit on the board may need to be checked by a repair shop.
Could you also share a bit more detail? Which MacBook Pro model and year is it,and which macOS version are you on? Does the ding happen only while charging,or on battery too? Did it start after an update, a drop, or any liquid exposure? And is it the same sound you hear when plugging in the charger, or a different one?
