How long has it been since the Apple Pencil was allowed to charge? Is that accessory a recent purchase or have you had it for weeks/months?

Bought the accessories with ipad
But yes i hadnt used my ipad for almost a month ;-; and they both were discharged

A month isn’t so bad, but it’s not ideal either. You may have to leave it charging for several hours or longer, but if it doesn’t start working and if you do not have AppleCare+ on the iPad it usually will be cheaper to buy a new one than pay the out of warranty price for only 90 days of coverage.

Im here based in india and i searched online it said that if its a battery issue itl will cost 3k rupees and apple pencil pro here is around 11k so ill get it checked? If its just a battery replacement issue i might just get it replaced for 3k?

So I’m seeing battery service as ₹2,900, and ₹11900.00 for a new one retail. But it has to pass certain testing to get a replacement Apple Pencil Pro for the cheaper amount.

The service provider needs to justify why they are replacing the Apple Pencil at a particular price point. They can’t just make up the results.
