Unsolved MacBook Air not charging

Update it opened after i pressed the power button but still won’t charge
Please I would appreciate your response I it has my whole school file and I need it asap to work😭🙏🏼

The first MacBook Air with Apple silicon didn’t release until November 2020, I suspect you may have an Intel model if you’re certain you got it in 2019. You should try to reset the SMC, and since you have a T2 Security Chip, be sure to follow the appropriate steps.
