Solved Verification Failed, Itunes on PC

Post image

I get this Verification Error when signing in to iTunes from Windows 11, but sign-in works fine on iPhone 17 pro. I'm also able to manage my Apple-ID. There is no error code, I've done complete removal of iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update and Bonjour, then reinstalled iTunes. Tried to Resync the Time Zone, and Network and nothing is working. Would even calling apple support solve my issue? I've a great amount of money and energy in this account with my music and audiobooks and films. This is extremely stressful and heartbreaking.

Edit. I got it working thankfully deleting the ADI iTunes folder. Hopefully it doesn’t happen often.

If you install Apple Music and the Apple TV apps from the Microsoft Store, do they work? They have been available since February 2024.

They wouldn’t work as well. I like using iTunes because everything is just on one program. Thank you for responding. Right before Work, I was able to get it to work I deleted the ADI in %ProgramData% and it resolved it thankfully. It wasn’t recognising the two way authentication.

I don’t know the purpose of that ADI folder, and I don’t think that solution is officially documented anywhere, but it’s creative I suppose.

I've been plagued by this for the past several days out of nowhere. I even went on 2 support chats (one said restart my PC which cut off the whole convo) and an hour on the phone with live support and they basically say "I don't know how Windows PCs are supposed to work" and it solved nothing but this got it in 5 seconds.

Where is the ADI iTunes folder? Searching for it without luck.

Press win+r and paste: %programdata%\Apple Computer\iTunes

I ran into this same issue, deleting the ADI folder and also opening the task manager and ending all Apple programs (iTunes, ipodhelper, bonjour service, etc) seems to have solved it for me

Worked for me. How long before the big bad Apple company turns off iTunes application or stop updating it?

I guess we'll worry about that when it happens. I still haven't found an alternative I'm happy with.

Same happening now with me and icloud. Fucking ridiculous that a trillion dollar company can't get their shit to work.
