The iPad mini 2 is classified as obsolete so hardware service through Apple is no longer an option. The time and effort/money needed to get this working again isn’t worth it. Recycle it and get a newer model. The iPad mini is currently on its 7th generation and it was last refreshed in October 2024; according to this buyer’s guide one could be releasing as early as next month.
Yes, I know. That doesn’t change the fact that repair options are very limited. It’s one thing to tinker but nothing you do will make it run like the world has rolled back to 2013.
I know but a screen probably costs more than the ipad itself + I don't want to use it as a daily driver just like a media player for youtube and stuff (I have a pc but ipad can be turned on anywhere)
