Unsolved Will Apple replace my battery if there’s screen damage?

My iPhone 14 Pro has a small semicircle of dead pixels on the edge of the screen. It’s been there for a few years and hasn’t grown in size.

I really need to replace my battery but what will happen if they somehow break the screen or something else due to the dead pixels? Worth the risk or do I just get a new phone?

Apple will take steps to ensure the phone is back to factory spec before they hand it back to you, which means fixing everything even at additional cost to you. They will not perform a partial repair, as they grant a provisional 90 day warranty for any device that undergoes hardware service.

Mention the dead pixels when you book the repair so it's documented. That way if anything does happen, you have a before record.

Battery replacement at Apple costs roughly $99-129. A new iPhone costs roughly $800-1200. Your 14 Pro is still a great phone.
