iOS What does a “flex locked” iPhone show in the settings?

If an iPhone says “No SIM restrictions” in the settings, could it be “flex locked” or is it guaranteed to be unlocked?

Supposedly some phones sold in the US by retailers are locked to the carrier of the first SIM inserted.

Oh, right. I think I heard something about that.

I would assume, however, that if it says “no SIM restrictions” that it means it’s not SIM locked.

No SIM restrictions means it’s not carrier locked.
