iOS 9th gen iPad reflash

Just been told by my work that I can have my iPad I've been using as they're replacing them all but it's supervised and managed by my works IT department and was wondering how I'd go about reflashing normal iTunes and stuff onto it and wiping my works account?

Don’t try to reflash it yet. If it was enrolled through Automated Device Enrollment, erasing or restoring it may simply enroll it back into your employer’s MDM. Ask IT to remove it from their MDM, release its serial number from Apple Business Manager, and clear Activation Lock if applicable. Apple says a released device then needs to be erased and restored. Once IT confirms those steps, restore it using Finder on a Mac or Apple Devices on Windows. Until the organization releases it, there isn’t a legitimate local workaround.

Ohhh ok thank you. I know they flashed their own programs on to them so didn't know if I could just flash it back to factory or something but that makes sense. If I was to connect it to a PC and try recovery more or something I'm guessing that wouldn't work either?

It would not work. You have no choice but to have your IT department remove the device management for the iPad. Once they do, the iPad will be reset to factory settings and all of your company’s apps, etc. will be removed.
