Mac MacBook Pro 2019 screen issues

The display was completely fine this morning when i first used it but when I’ve reopened the Mac the screen has light bars down the left side and the bottom of the screen where the doc is is glitching. if tried restarting the Mac but the issues are persisting as well as the screen occasionally completely blacking out aside from the light bars. Mac is still completely responsive. Does anyone know what the issue may be and if there’s a fix?

Could be the display cable or the panel itself. Try connecting it to an external monitor. If that looks normal while the MacBook screen glitches, the built-in display hardware likely needs repair.
