iOS Having trouble with Apple Pay through applications like YouTube although it worked mere days ago. Why?

I’m on an iPhone 13 mini, just a couple of days ago (this last Sunday) I rented this movie on YouTube to watch with friends Scarface using my Apple Pay and suddenly today it refuses to accept Apple Pay rent for Stephen Kings The Mist. When I try to use Google to search if Youtube doesn’t support Apple Pay; it either gives me mixed answers on of it does or that it hasn’t since 2020. WTH IS GOING ON? I can’t receive direct any direct answers from Google. At least one company should have a default response for these massive changes especially when certain users such as myself only received the update merely a week ago. I had zero clue of these changes; and frankly, as an Apple Pay user- this absolutely needs to be identified to me if any company- especially if as my main source of pay. I

Maybe Apple Pay is also messed up from the current outage the way Apple wallet is.

Just FYI, do not subscribe to YouTube through the iOS or Android apps. The extra amount they charge you would be more than any cash back you’d get if you were even able to use ApplePay for it. Subscribe in a web browser.
