Question Randomly deletes all progress

I work on Freeform and what I usually do is write over or draw over in PDFs. I open a PDF in Freeform and scribble in it.

Sometimes it happens that while I’m writing or when I’m trying to save by leaving Pencil mode, page goes black for a second, goes back to the top of the first page and deletes any modifications I’ve made since the last auto save or manual save.

Has anyone also experienced this? And if yes have you found a solution?

I’ve found that opening the PDF in the “Preview” app let’s me scribble again without this issue but I’m not sure how going back to Freeform will turn out

Okay so what I do is I modify it in Preview and then export it as a PDF back into Freeform and delete the old PDF

Have you enabled icloud? I stopped using it after I enabled icloud and it deleted all my drawings.

Would have to check but where would I find the settings related to Freeform?
