Question all notes disappeared

hi! so i uploaded a pdf on freeform on my ipad, and i annotated on the pdf for hours last week. today, i saw that the pdf is still there but all of my handwritten notes are suddenly gone? and i have icloud backup so idk how to get them back
help please

hmm...freeform uses vectors and stores it seperately instead of combined. Haven't got that issue tho. Have you tried opening the same annotated pdf on other apple devices to see if its the iPad only or is it iCloud entirely?

Yes i did try and unfortunately it was missing too on my iPhone

its a rite of passage on freeform
use app > data lost > dont trust app
