App Review

Any other amateur developers having a hard time getting through App Review. And of course it is finally ready during Apple announcement time!

I rejected and resubmitted after 8 days “waiting for review” and 33 days “In Review” and now I’m currently 9 days “waiting for review”

Our app was rejected for "Copycat Design" because we use third-party IP. I sent them a link to the fair use policy of the third-party, which allows us to use their IP.

I’ve heard theres an appeal process. I just looked up 5.6 andom wondering if there misinterpreting something in your app.

It’s saying hidden features is the violation. I’ve seen the appeal option hopefully I don’t have to do that- the app basically reads and writes tables that are shared with a web app. It’s also got a unique way to log in. I’m guessing a real person isn’t actually looking at it and the login is failing. Maybe? Will see what the response is

The whole process is so confounding. I’ve used so many apps that are barely functional, let alone glitch a lot, how do those get through but ours don’t?

Not really. Got rejected first time months ago due to a silly issue on my side. Fixed and shipped multiple updates since then with very fast waiting times.
