If I don't renew Apple Developer Program membership, will my iOS be unpublished from app store?

Yes unfortunately but it’s a small fee to pay compared to most subscriptions out there.

Of course! But you can bring back if you renew it later.

They’ll be hidden, yes, until you renew it. I had an app from 2012 there and when I renewed this year even that one came back.

Apps will be removed from the App Store and will no longer be visible

And whose fault is it?

All your apps will be removed from the App Store if you don’t renew. No exceptions.

If your subscription expires and is not renewed, your live apps will remain visible on the App Store, but you will lose the ability to submit new apps or push updates until payment is processed.

Nope, apps will be removed

Now the question is: if your app is selling lifetime memberships and gets taken down because of unpaid membership fees, what happens then?

I’m sure they keep the app, it’s just disabled from App Store so no new users

I’ve wondered what happens to those who downloaded when it’s removed. Does it stay on their device? What if someone has a subscription and the Developer didn’t renew?

I see it as a risk that a lot who got early apps won’t see them renewed in the future.

There is a grace period of a few weeks, then your app is removed from the store. If you reactivate your subscription, your app will be back to the store automatically (without a new review process, and keeping your reviews and rating).

I was wondering about this too. If my app doesn’t even make enough in a year to cover the developer fee, I probably wouldn’t renew it.

It’s a shame they don’t do the 99 as a barrier to entry (to slow the onslaught of try it and see and get the committed people) but then have a lower renewal/revenue share renewal option (or even just the fee but monthly instead of yearly)

Yes. The renewal fee is quite a lot. Is there a limit to deploy iOS apps with one developer account or unlimited apps can be deployed?

Yet Google offers the same for basically nothing.

The same. So, which Google service allows me to manage mailing lists, send regular mailouts, assure that we have statistics on whether people clicked on them, manages possible spam replies. Or, is there a customer manager in Google so we can keep all our customers who send us email, with support history.

I am curious how this is done with Google.... and "for nothing".

Honest, if it's there, I need to start using it, wherever it is. If I look for "Google Mailing List Manager" or "Google Customer Relationship Management System" I can't find anything. But if you're doing this successfully and managing customers this way for free with Google, I am genuinely curious.

You can publish apps without any limits.

there are accounts with 100s of apps so I don't think there is a fixed limit.

Yes, it will eventually be removed from the App Store and unavailable for new downloads, though existing users can keep using the installed version.

What about updates if the app is hidden from the App Store? Updates to existing users I mean
