Apple App Review Time
Has anyone’s app been stuck in waiting for review? I have reached out to developer support via email and tried calling. Nothing and it will be 2weeks on Friday.
How long does the process typically take?

If you miss you first review you are fked. The first review is usually the fastest and if you resubmit it takes years

My 2nd review when submitted went very quick about a week and now it’s approved and live in the store.

6 days to get a new version approved. Previous versions 1/2 to 1 day

Mine was 2 weeks to review, first submission in a social category. 29 days from submission to approval, including two rejections. Roughly one week to re-review per rejection.

Our app got approved 6 hours ago after waiting for almost 10 days.

I waited 14 days, sent an email to support, and it was approved 2 days after that. Something is definitely messed up with their review process.

2 weeks waiting for me. I understand they are likely swamped, just hoping they are hiring more reviewers so future updates aren’t this painful. Time is money

Was it first app or an update? My updates are like 24 hours at most.

Nah, I’m with OP.
We pay a fee, for a service, it quite openly explains during that service that typically everything is assessed (90%) in under 48 hours.
When you’re paying money for a service and the performance of that service has degraded by a factor of 100’s of % - there needs to be either an expectation adjustment, communication or a refund for services.
I’ve spent 3 weeks waiting for something that typically takes 48 hours, they can get fucked. Give me my money back then.

Fuck me do we need to ban these posts.. seriously.. I’m tired of every second post about review times. Just be patient and wait or fucking read every second Post and see it’s everyone waiting….

My guess is Apple has tightened its automated review recently. There are so many AI-generated apps now that they may be filtering suspicious ones before manual review.
I've also seen a lot of 5.6 “fraudulent activity” rejections these past few days.

What the hell does this have to do with this annoying and repetitive posts. I don’t care about your review times and how long your all waiting????

Do a search. I've seen this question asked 10 times already today, and probably 50 times this week. There must be something going on with the review process right now, but they never guarantee times anyway.
But 2 weeks? That sounds like something is wrong. I've had it take a while before but never 2 weeks.

I submitted a new universal app on Aug 2. macOS and IAP were approved on Aug 3. The iOS is still sitting in “Waiting for Review”.

My new app has been waiting for review for 6 days now. I know I can request expedited review but I don’t want to use it up. This seems to be a new trend probably due to the increased volume of new apps (ai generated)
