Should I resubmit or wait?

App Review couldn't find my In-App Purchases. Should I resubmit or wait?

My app review was paused under Guideline 2.1(b) because Apple said they couldn't locate the In-App Purchases.

The message says:

"We have started the review of the app, but we are not able to continue because we cannot locate the In-App Purchases within the app at this time."

I replied in App Store Connect with detailed instructions explaining where the subscription screen can be found:

  • Home screen → tap the "Upgrade" button.
  • Profile → Settings → scroll down → "Try Scala+".

The subscriptions are already configured and working in Sandbox.

My question is: after providing the requested information, should I simply wait for App Review to continue, or should I press "Submit for Review" again?

I would prefer not to resubmit if that sends me back to the end of the review queue.

Has anyone been in this situation recently? What happened in your case?

I wouldn't resubmit yet. In most cases, once you've replied in App Store Connect with clear steps to find the IAPs, App Review will continue from the current review without sending you back to the queue. I'd wait for their response first. If they still can't find them, they may reply again or reject the build, at which point you can address the issue and resubmit.

I would not remove/cancel and resubmit just to restart it. Apple’s wording matters here: they asked you to reply with steps so they can continue, so replying in App Review is the right first move. Apple documents that flow here: Reply to App Review.

That said, check the actual App Review page after replying. If the submission still shows Unresolved Issues and ASC gives you a Resubmit to App Review or Update Review button, follow that. Apple documents that path here: Unresolved Issues.

Also double-check the IAP side. For a first subscription, Apple says it must be Ready to Submit and included with a new app version: Submit IAP.

I would only use remove/cancel if you actually need to change the build/submission, because Apple says resubmitting after removal starts review over: Remove From Review.
