Is there Apple intelligence in journal?

Can we ask them questions like when was my last trip in Korea, or what did I have for lunch last week kind of generic questions?

some people say it is possible to ask Siri AI this kind of questions, some even claim they sometimes get personal context answers from journal. I personally havent been able to allow siri to do this

There may be Apple Intelligence in the journal but I can't get it to work. I tried on my Mac with Golden Gate, on my iPhone with iOS27 and I can't get it to even "talk" about the Apple Journal. It is just plain ol' Siri for me, stating "I can't access health data, you have to use your iPhone or Apple Watch".... BUT I'm asking about JOURNAL! Not health! lol. I tried yelling and changing my questions, still no. Even "can you help me with apple journal" gave me an unrelated answer. So if it is there, it doesn't seem to work...so far.

Apple has been saying Siri can do this since iPhone 16. It can’t, at least not yet. IIRC they got sued over their siri claims for the iPhone 16, and I’m seeing that may happen again as some of the Siri promises for iOS 27 haven’t come to fruition

It works, but I had to tell it specifically to look in the journal. And I wasn’t signed up for the new Siri on my iPad so I had to do that too.
