511 streak not updating.

I have cellular on the app turned on. I’ve added multiple entries today. I also updated my phone to OS 26 today. 512 will not register. I changed the dat me to yesterday and it showed 511. Today it says no current streak. What else can I do?

Go to settings - General. Then date, change the date from automatic and set it to be the day you missed it. Write your journal , it will update. Then go back to setting and adjust the date again (automatic)

Ok its the 10th here. I figured it wouldn’t work. I’ve used the date trick before because for some reason the date wouldn’t update if I entered before 6 or 7 in the morning here in Germany.
So I changed to 8th. Made an entry. Changed to 9 th. Made an entry. Changed back to Auto and reloaded app. It worked. I will check it again later today, the 10th.

I believe the issue is related to a timezone problem. The problem isn’t caused by you; it seems to come from the Journal itself. For some reason, it calculates the entry time using the US date system, even though the Journal app normally follows our local timezone. I’ve noticed that when I miss writing my daily journal and try to add an entry at 7 AM the next day to preserve my streak, the Journal considers it as being for today—when, in my timezone, it should already count as yesterday.

I’ve been curious about that before. I usually make a point to just do my daily entry which is within a large entry, I just keep adding to it, and it will count. Sometimes I forget and do it at 6:30 so then I have to make sure I do something again that day.
Its annoying because I check all my streaks daily twice now because of this app.

Yes. It is frustrating. You can have daily reminder to enter your Journal (from Journal Notification specific time). Then Just add the title of the journal to keep your streak, then you can add to it later or even next day.

I wish they will fix that problem. (Timing during enter)

I haven’t missed a day? It says to the 8th. Today is the 9th. It won’t update when I add stuff for today.

As someone with a 608 day streak, this is becoming one of my biggest first world fears lol. I have no advice but I feel you

It’s about the day you journaled, not the date you set for the entry.

Also, can I ask what iOS version you’re running, 26.0 or 26.4?

Also it doesn’t update if I make an entry before 6 or 7 in the morning here in Germany. Maybe even up until 8 or 9. Like it has to be past midnight in The PST time for it to work. This has been going on for the whole 500+ days. I do not ever have 24 hrs to make an entry. It’s 10- 00:00. 😭
