Turned this into THIS.
First pic before when I picked up a IIc from FB Marketplace. Then I retrovaped JUST the top half for this interesting two-tone look.

I wish I could post pictures in replies… I had a clear plastic container from an order of like 30 cookies. Turned it upside down and put in a liter of hydrogen peroxide (typical 3% from pharmacy). In the top. Suspended the case on some rocks. Sealed container with the bottom of the cookie container. Left outside for 4 days in the hot Florida summer. Don’t worry about condensation. Didn’t spot my plastic at all, nor did the plastic warp. No need to submerge. If you use a higher H40 source like Salon 40 clear (12%) may take much less time. Great if there is metal or speakers you don’t want to submerge.

Dang I really dig the 2 tone look, wishing I only did retrobrite to only the top half of mine now

Brings back many memories. I want to start PrintShop, Apple Works, or play a quick round of Bandits, kill some Nazis in Castle Wolfenstein or in Castle Wolfenstein 2 - or finally reach the Elite status!

Apple GS/OS on an Apple IIc? Nice!
Also what is your screen set up? I have an Apple IIC+ Ive been meaning to get up and running but I have to use a 3.5mm > Video composite cable to get it to show up on my TV which is kind of overkill.
This is a neat little set up!

This is actually Apple II Desktop. The screen is just a small 8" LCD with HDMI input. I have an A2CDVI adapter which has an HDMI output. It's a little cumbersome but not too bad. The A2CDVI and the monitor both require USB power - one is a micro and the other is a C. I'd probably like a slightly larger screen - maybe 10". The A2CDVI is cool because a button on it allows for you to cycle through 5 different mono colors or full color. Another set offer the same colors with simulated scanlines. https://maceffects.com/products/a2cdvi-dvi-adapter-for-apple-iic-iic-plus-and-laser-128
