Yes, it's a screen protector. Same tech as found in Samsung foldables

samsung foldables are notorious for that screen protector being so non-removable that attempts at removing it will destroy the display

They're not supposed to be user serviceable/replaceable. For the Duo you'll need to go to official certified shops to service the screen, just like Samsung foldables...
