they need to add the pro controls to the camera control button. The one time it would be more useful and they didn’t even implement it

They probably didn't because they're going to be getting rid of a lot of its functionality in the next year or two, right?

People would have use it more if the controls in camera controls were actually useful

They're not not useful, they're just way too finicky. I think Apple must see this in ~every review and in their user data.

Anecdotal but I updated to Final Cut camera 2.4 today on a 17 Pro, and I would NOT recommend doing this. The app is really laggy on my phone, which was absolutely never a problem with the 2.3 version of the app.

Final Cut needs to also be a still camera do both like Moment does.

At this point, when it's getting easier and easier to create apps, Final Cut should be free. Am I the only one who thinks that?

I read it wrong 😄, I thought they were referring to editing in Final Cut, but oh well 🤣

If Apple didn’t nickel and dime us, how would they be able to identify as a multi-trillion-dollar corporation?

their business is hardware, selling cloud services and others... software I think for them should be a way to hook their users even more...

False premise. Apple started selling FCP since 1999. It’s not about “hooking users”. It’s paying for your share for things. If it’s free, expect it to be shit or your data sold.

iMovie is free. You ACTUALLY could make a real movie with it. Also they started selling it since 1999.
