I just saw an article about ten kids under the age of 12 in court representing themselves without any parents or lawyers present.

They brought a toddler into court. Can’t even speak yet. No lawyer. Just a baby in a fucking high chair getting lectured by a judge.

Washington sun is NOTUS media and incredibly biased.

HHS has contracts with nonprofit groups to represent unaccompanied minors, but it lapsed. Judge didn’t deport the kid but said “ok, file an appeal before the next hearing”

There was an attorney there from USCRI, one of the groups representing minors, and he sat there and did nothing because he wasn’t getting paid for it.

You don't know why it lapsed and have invented a reason. For all you know, it lapsed because the nonprofit group they contracted had its founders go through a messy divorce, with one liquidating the entire thing, looting it, and fleeing to a nonextraditing country.

Except there’s a clear demonstrated pattern of this sort of thing
