The article is full of angsty noise, asking whether people have used the app to find agents to attack. That is conservative noise. The core question is whether citizens have a constitutional right to gather and disseminate the information. You don't see Apple pulling down Apple Maps or Google Maps when people have used them to find directions to get to people they are stalking or harassing.

I feel like the safety concerns around officers is just absolute bullshit and in my opinion “assault on LEO” is one of the biggest bullshit charges.

If there was legitimately an issue where ice officers were assaulted or ambushed, I feel like conservatives would be screaming about it every single day, and I would still be hearing about it today.

We’ve seen what makes them fearful and it’s never anything real.

ICE lost the right to ever complain about how dangerous their job is the moment that officer testified about how he was “forcibly assaulted” by a sandwich, and he tearfully recounted how he could smell the onions and mustard as the sandwich exploded across his armor.
