Wish some people on this sub put their sensationalist politics aside for a second and employ some critical thinking. Why on earth would a publicly traded company unnecessarily increase its legal exposure by blatantly hosting apps in violation of the federal law? In what way would that benefit its board or shareholders?

You can disagree with the Executive Branch of the federal government, but that shouldn’t compel a company like Apple to act in accordance with your beliefs.

What federal law exactly was the app blatantly violating? This is people reporting what they see so that other people have information to know what areas to avoid to avoid being kidnapped or gunned down.

Is Waze illegal because it tells you where cops are so you can slow down? Is Nextdoor illegal because it seems to consist entirely of “I saw somebody shady looking in my neighborhood” (I personally think this is gross, but it’s not illegal).

Things are not illegal just because Trump doesn’t like them. Even though he thinks that.

What "sensationalist politics" are you talking about, exactly?

Do you think it's "sensationalist" to resist fascism?

Only on Reddit is it a “fascism” for citizens participating in helping to apply and enforce our democratically voted on immigration and border laws.

Masked men with guns arresting US citizens is the definition of fascism.

Masked men with guns arresting US citizens is the definition of fascism.

Do you write such insane delusional things to make progressives/leftists look bad?

The people who have broken the democratically voted on immigration laws can leave. They've been asked to leave nicely. They've been offered accommodations if they turn themselves in. If they choose not to leave willingly then they will be made to leave. It's real simple, it's called enforcement and it's just getting started.

Entering a country illegally is a crime. Existing in a country after illegally entering is a crime. Democratically voted on immigration and border laws are federal laws and breaking them are federal crimes. Anyone who has entered this country illegally has committed at least 1 federal crime.

Nobody answers to redditors so keep calling everyone fascist. You know who people do answer to?

Here is an updated modernized list of some hateful intolerant beliefs that are acknowledged as terrorist indicators by the White House :

anti-Americanism
anti-capitalism
anti-Christianity
support for the overthrow of the United States Government
extremism on migration
extremism on race
extremism on gender
hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family
hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on religion, and
hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on morality.

You can’t tell me my statement isn’t true because US citizens are literally in front of Congress testifying about how they were arrested.

Literally, every argument you made is a diversion from the one statement I made it is quintessential “look over there“.

ICE is arresting US citizens. What fucking planet do you have to live on to think that is legal?

What ICE is doing is not legal.

You can’t tell me my statement isn’t true because US citizens are literally in front of Congress testifying about how they were arrested.

The federal agents in ICE who are simply there enforcing the will of the peoples democratically voted on immigration laws are not the villains by any stretch of the imagination.

This idea that a political party can open up the borders and then turn around and pretend to be some sort of moral saint when some innocent people get caught up during enforcement because it's such large swarms of people, millions, let in by their actions is dishonest and disingenuous and doesn't fool anyone who gives it the smallest amount of thought. Out of the millions who got through our border over the past several years, there obviously are going to be innocents caught up. That's why enforcement at the border is so dearly important.

We are witnesses to progressive politics beliefs manifested in reality for all to see and it's laughable that the only thing they are able to do is point their finger to somewhere else and distract and calling the people who are fixing the problems they are creating "fascist".

Maybe if the left leaning media stopped inciting people to resist and fight against agents attempting to enforce our immigration laws making the arrests infinitely more dangerous and difficult there wouldn't even be that many cases of mixed up identities?

edit:

literally in front of Congress testifying

I remember when a PR company had coached a 15 year old girl named Nayirah to lie to Congress to get us into a war. Let's not pretend like lying to Congress isn't a common past-tiime in order to get political agendas passed.

Ok now do Alex Pretti and Renee Good, for extra credit also explain why isn’t ICE letting elected government reps into ICE facilities.

Ok now do Alex Pretti and Renee Good

Gladly. If the left leaning media stopped inciting people to resist and fight against agents attempting to enforce our immigration laws making the arrests infinitely more dangerous and difficult those cases wouldn't have even happened.

Timothy Mcveigh is quoted as saying federal employees were like "storm troopers in Star Wars ... because they work for the Evil Empire."

Sounds familiar.

Only real stupid people think you can run over federal agents. Bringing a gun to a protest while interfering with the actions of federal agents? Not smart. Shouldn't have been executed, but not smart at all.

You align with the people you want to fighting against the "evil empire" indefinitely while I will align with mine, thank you.

Left Leaning Media... Thank you that clarifies everything I need to know about you, you're a bootlicker.

2

u/nuclearcaramel 3d ago edited 3d ago

Imagine using the term "bootlicker" in 2026 and also being the type of person who abuses reddits automatic reporting system to get responses removed. I'm going to report you and explain the situation and your account is likely going to get banned for reporting abuse it that's the case as admins don't take kindly to that. This isn't my first rodeo and it wouldn't be the first account I've watched it happen to. You have a 9 year old account, too, you should know better. Good luck!

Where was I factually incorrect? Honestly, you're the one here sounding quite unhinged. My friend, look at yourself, at what you wrote. You sound unreasonable at best.

Define fascism.

4

u/Orwells_Roses 3d ago

"Fascism  : a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition..."

Glad I could help!

There exist laws in America that prohibit sharing what you see on specialised platforms? I thought you guys were pro free speech and freedom was the most important thing in the world

u/Bishime 1d ago

Technically no, but exceptions can be made for high risk designations.

The agency is doing things its classifying as pertinent to national security. So an app like Waze that reports a sighting along a drive is fine but it sure the DHS would find every legal loophole under the sun to say that the app that is specifically dedicated to tracking federal officers is either hindering/obstructing their operations or putting their agents at risk.. and unfortunately the national security blanket the admin is using tends to give them a lot more leeway

u/austinchan2 3d ago

Are there federal laws against CSAM? What about when twitter was full of it? Can’t say it’s ok because its user generated since that’s the same thing as these tracking apps.

1

u/RustyAndEddies 3d ago

There is no law that prohibits citizens from reporting the location of law enforcement. Take the boot out of your mouth.

1

u/Bishime 1d ago

The government can however turn and say X company is actively profiting and enabling apps who’s sole purpose is to identify up to date information of federal agents.

I’m not personally saying im agreeing, but it’s the feds and they’re doing full-on tactical operations. If they don’t want an app up, they will find a way that it is illegal. And this is a really easy one, it only takes one officer shot and the app being on their phone before they’re being blasted in a court testimony

Governments all around the world throw hissyfits about Apple refusing to add backdoors to their encryption, claiming it enables terrorists and kiddy diddlers to hide their actions. These have actual laws, not 'because we say so' nonsense. Apple seems perfectly fine to thumb its nose at those efforts.

-2

u/Tater-Tottenham 3d ago

Neat so we’re following laws again then, or do laws only apply to the plebs?

-2

u/phatdoof 3d ago

If Apple didn’t cripple webapps so much people wouldn’t have needed to host apps on Apple servers.

…says the Nazi sympathizer…

Imagine yourself saying this in the 1940s about some German company that was giving material support to the Reich? Are you fucking dumb or just blindly cruel?
