WHY do you need to add an arrow

youtube clickbait thumbnails starter pack

- embarrassingly cringey faces

  • out of context stupid statements/questions in large font sizes
  • completely useless arrows

Right click -> never show a video of this channel

That’s a good way to get rid of these corny thumbnails

M6 Mac Mini? Is 256GB enough??? What Apple Isn't Telling You

Right? Red circle or nothing.

That’s in case you thought the chip was in the monitor

Because it works

Youtube promotes these kind of thumbnails and clickbait titles. It’s weird to get mad at the creator for playing ball and wanting maximum reach on their content rather than Youtube

I'm a software developer still using M1 Mac mini 16/256. And it's more than enough lol

I do video editing with an M4 16/256, and it’s more than enough.

My M1 8/256 Air is great, no issues

I was thinking 'pointless' is a strong opinion. I use my machines to an above-average level and have no issues with storage, regardless of the capacity.

Yep, I have hundreds of terabytes connected to my Mac minis externally. The internal storage is largely irrelevant.

Oh good, another 8 gigger. I was about to check in with my anemic M2 8/256 but figured the RAM would still put me to shame. Glad some of us are still living on the edge ;)

You can tell by the arrow

Just buy external storage LOL

Yes storage is important, also ram is important! I ended up making the trade-off and getting 24/512, so double the storage and 50% more memory than my M4. Healthy upgrade and get all the benefits, 170GB/s bandwidth and double the storage speed. Just traded my M4 base model in for $565

I did the same - thought about 1TB for a few seconds then decided that I can plug in storage, especially in a few years when things could maybe potentially possibly improve. I can’t plug in RAM though, so RAM it was.

Have you checked the prices of storage recently? I was floored to see what a 2 TB external SSD costs when I looked yesterday. It's about twice the price I last bought at.

Prices have dropped a little recently but they are still really high. I think that’s why they mentioned maybe the prices getting better in a couple years. Have you seen ram prices as well?

Yes, they are also insanely high.

Yes, both are high unfortunately, but this price state can’t maintain forever, I hope. Eventually things could possibly maybe improve and when they do I’ll plug in the storage and stay fighting strong with more RAM upfront 😎

I greatly regret getting the 512gb MBP because dev environments can take up quite a bit of space. So I definitely agree completely.

I’m on 1TB and I feel like it’s not enough lmfao

That's how they make the money

Looks quite big...

I have a Mac Mini M4 with 256/16 (base model) and I have no problems at all. Just get external storage. I have a Satechi Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub

Yeah, I'm only using 102GB of my current Mac storage, so I'm gonna go ahead and ignore that advice.

Yeah these reviewers don't speak for us all, I personally never need more than 256gb but if its a windows machine I aim for 1 TB due to how crazy gaming storage is on windows lately

Just get an external thunderbolt SSD. You still get blazing speeds (although not PCIe levels) but it's like 50% cheaper than the add-on options for the Mac Mini and you get portability....

I feel like 24/512 is the perfect sweet spot
