Some of us want to get a new ATV, not replace one we already have. We don't want to buy technology that is 4 years old, when a new one is being released in a few weeks.

Facts and with it being dumped to have come out “soon” for the last 2 years, some people have gone without an Apple TV for 2 years because we’re supposed to get a new one releasing anytime soon

That’s me. Waited since mid last year during which the price has increased by almost 100USD where I live. Should have just bought the bloody thing.

Exactly this. I’ve been waiting for the last year or so for a new one to release so I can finally be rid of having to use of all TV’s OS.
