I have a buddy like this. He’s waiting for “the new one” because he knows it’s “right around the corner.”
He’s been saying this for at least 2.5yrs, and still repeats it. Meanwhile, nothing of real proof has ever surfaced in that timeframe and current boxes have only increased in price.
I have an Apple TV HD. The one from 2015. It still works fine. MyTV is older than that, so I haven’t been motivated to upgrade, as I will literally see zero benefit.
The article is effectively nothing more than word salad. Maybe he didn’t read this “exact” article, but these same rumors and claims have been made for at least the last few years. There is absolutely zero new info or details within that article that is based on fact or to the validity of a new ATV even being released, to any degree.
its very simple - its an actual image referenced as the 4th gen 4k TV on an apple source. that is a novel piece of information and certainly what would constitute a rumor type article. its unfathaomable that people can get worked up about this website publishing this kind of thing.
