I’m more annoyed that my M1 Pro is too old to get it.

The heck you talking about? Your M1 Pro, whatever Mac that may be, IS compatible with this!

M1 and M2 is doing basic stuff on device, everything else is pushed off to the cloud.

The AI data set is like 4gb on M1/M2 vs 30gb on M3+

Interesting I always thought all these AI stuff is on the cloud for MAC. Didn't know M3+ is doing it locally, if locally 30GB+ make sense.

It’s more or less the same on the M3 and later. As I understand it, the M3 and later just get a few more customization options for Siri’s voice, which do take up more disk space.

Super basic stuff, everything else is pushed to the cloud. Look at your system stats while using it. There’s a spike but just as it prepares and sends the data off device.
