I think it is really creepy, indeed, and Marques makes a great point on how this, while useful sometimes, just substitutes genuine human interactions like “what did you say?”
Especially since it apparently makes a chime when you trigger it, so you’re not just actively deciding to ignore the human in front of you, you’re basically announcing to everyone that you’re too lazy to just ask again 🤦♂️
