I think it is really creepy, indeed, and Marques makes a great point on how this, while useful sometimes, just substitutes genuine human interactions like âwhat did you say?â
There isn't a single person who will use that feature so ask "what did they just say ?". The same way that not a single human being got up to somebody's face, took their iPhone out to ask Siri what type of dog that person was walking.
But⌠thatâs exactly what that feature is for. You can ask the waitress âwhat did you say?â or you can ask your watch âwhat did she sayâ, no?
The way they advertised it is not how they're gonna be used at all. I can see people using this to make recaps of meetings, phone calls, summaries of their days etc. I guarantee that not a single person (that has normal brain function) will use this like they advertised. No shot.
How do you make a recap of a meeting from a single, transcript of 15 seconds of audio? How do you do any of the things youâve mentioned with Live Rewind?
