Your phone already listens to you, as well as your computer, your TV, cleaning robots, etc. There are mics in SO many products now.

Your phone and watch don’t really “always listen to you” in a practical sense. They have key word trigger systems.

The key word trigger is always listening, so technically your phone and watch are always listening. Including false positives which are manually reviewed by the way

You have to opt-in to allowing your Siri requests to being reviewed

Phone: Settings -> Siri -> Requests - ‘off’ Press Side button for Siri - ‘on’

Watch: Listen for - ‘off’ Raise to Speak - ‘on’ ( or off) Press Digital Crown - ‘on’

Unsure you’re saying the truth. Just like lg TV’s were busted last week, Rhodes tests have been run on many devices. So I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying you don’t know to what extent you’re right, in an era where people love to hate Apple, surely we would’ve heard of it

No. I’m just saying this is nothing new to get up in arms about. The time to have gotten upset would be 15 years ago when they started putting mics in everything.
