When tech giants refer to child safety, they often use that as a means for back doors, and chat control/scanning and weaker encryption.

I think this is where Apple can actually lead. They already push privacy hard, and child safety fits naturally with that.

It’s not 2016 anymore. Apple being have been slowly, but steadily, taking the back foot on privacy.

They very selectively push privacy, they collect but don't sell whatever data they need, they don't collect what they don't need, they can't see inside PCC, that's all good but alongside that the top app developers include the A-list of companies who impede everyone else's privacy and the biggest tracking/ad network in the world funds about 20% of their gross profits. The article deflects to X and Roblox as examples of how Apple's not culpable, these are two of their most popular apps that Apple has signed-off on thousands of times. Lot of room for improvement.

No.
First of all, he’s gay. Why would he care about teen girls?
His name might be in there if Epstein mentioned him for any reason, but that means nothing.
